Click here to read the article titled "Luxury Homes That Are Better, Not Bigger". It features the three home project, Rennie, that we are currently constructing in Venice. There are a couple paragraphs about Heyday in the print article, but to get your full dose of Heyday you have to check out the video. To watch it, follow the link to the article and click on the image at the top of the article.
While "luxury homes" aren't particularly our niche, the term is more of an indicator of the Venice market where nearly every homes is approaching seven digit pricing than the style of home we are building, we are proud to showcase that "better luxury homes" can be built as smart growth infill that is sustainable (LEED Platinum rating) and high density. By utilizing an architectural language that emphasizes spatial flow vertically (sunken courtyards, 14' ceiling heights, suspended mezzanines, roof decks) and from interior to exterior (sliding glass wall in the living room, master bedroom opening onto the roof deck, mitered windows, wall openings in exterior spaces), the homes feel larger and more open than the square footage and building footprint indicate.
Now, if we could just finish these suckers soon so you can see what the heck we're talking about!
