Inside: B(L)OX
This extensive remodel tackled an existing floor plan in which the stair to the second floor unit bisected the lower unit. To reorganize the layout Heyday pulled the stair out of the building and cantilevered it over the parking area below. This not only opened the plan of both units but also gave the building an identity. To this day the plan checker refers to Heyday as “Crazy Stair".

The nosejob that turned into full on reconstructive surgery is complete and the results are pretty good! This isn’t a Meg Ryan job, more Angelina Jolie. “Wait, Angelina never got any surgery?” That’s how you know it’s good, wink. Its been a long journey of discovering how broken this house was but we definitely feel like the end result was worth all the hard work.
